A popular bank is hiring an AWS Cloud Implementation Engineer for a 2025 project.
Position: AWS Implementation Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Plano, Texas (3 days a week on site/2 remote)
Duration: 12-24 months
Pay Rate: 65++/hr W2
Top Requirements:
- Cloud computing expertise with AWS specifically
- Automation coding and scripting experience
- Networking and security expertise/project experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with SQL and other data tools
Horizon toolset familiarity
Change Management familiarity
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help clients migrate their data and applications to cloud platforms
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure applications are optimized for cloud environment
- Build and maintain automation scripts for deploying infrastructure and applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, server errors, and other system interruptions
- Ensure data security and regulatory compliance for cloud-based data and applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and advise clients on best practices and trends
- Work with clients to assess their needs, develop implementation plans
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Create and maintain documentation on cloud processes, protocols, and configurations
- Participate in team meetings, provide status updates, and work with others to ensure project timelines are met
